Fans are furious about Slipknot‘s new “S” emblem, which was unveiled on a limited-edition piece of merchandise. On October 28, they posted on social media to promote the @slipknotmerch account. The first image displays a black T-shirt with Slipknot‘s name printed in red and underlined in white. The “S” logo on the back of the shirt is very different from Joey Jordison’s logo. In contrast to the tribal one, the “S” is longer and has smoother edges; the original one had more sharp, barbed-like points. A link in the bio of the @slipknotmerch Instagram account that is referenced in the caption directs viewers to a page named The Portal.
Step into The Portal. The direct connection to one’s very own imagination. Here in this space you’ll see what you’ll never see on the other side.
The collection’s page calls the new “S” emblem a “Ritual S,” however the tribal “S” is still present on the sleeves of some of the other pieces. The basic “Ritual S” T-shirt costs $25 and is available in a number of colors.
Extremely limited. You will never get this same item again. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
