Sleeping With Sirens release new single “Paralyzed”

The new song “Paralysed” by Sleeping With Sirens has unexpectedly gone viral, as per theprp. On May 21, the multi-platinum post-hardcore/pop-punk group released an official visualiser for the song. That song will be on the group’s upcoming eighth studio album, “An Ending In Itself,” which will be released on June 12th on Rise Records. In case you haven’t been keeping track, out of the twelve songs on the new album, “Paralysed” is the third to be previewed.

The band’s current lineup features Kellin Quinn on vocals, Nick Martin and Tony Pizzuti on guitars, Justin Hills on bass, and Matty Best on drums.

Sleeping with Sirens also have several festival appearances confirmed for this year. The tour includes Warped Tour dates in Washington D.C., Long Beach, and Orlando, Inkcarceration, Louder Than Life, and Aftershock.

Members of Paddock Park and For All We Know joined the band in 2009. Currently signed to Rise Records, the group has put out one acoustic EP in addition to seven full-length albums. The lead hit off the band’s 2010 Rise Records debut album, “With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear,” “If I’m James Dean, You’re Audrey Hepburn,” helped them become well-known. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) recognised the hit song “If You Can’t Hang” as double platinum for selling 2,000,000 copies in the US. “Let’s Cheers to This,” the band’s second album, was released in 2011 and quickly became a hit.

“Feel”, their third and final album on Rise Records, was released on June 4, 2013. On the US Billboard 200, it made its debut at number three. On March 17, 2015, Epitaph Records released the fourth album, “Madness”, from which the single “Kick Me” was taken. On September 22, 2017, Warner Bros. Records released their fifth album, “Gossip”. Sumerian Records published their sixth album, “How It Feels to Be Lost”, on September 6, 2019. On October 14, 2022, they released “Complete Collapse”, their seventh album. The ensemble is well recognised for the range of vocalist Kellin Quinn’s leggero tenor, as well as for its early heavy sound and subsequent pop influences.
