On the 13th of June, a Japanese alternative band named SiM (Silence Iz Mine) had an anticipated solo show at the O2 Academy Islington, London, UK. The band was around for years with their intriguing mix of genres. Their sound consists of heavy metal, reggae, hip-hop and alternative metal, which helps them stand out on the scene. In the last few years, SiM gained truly deserved worldwide recognition thanks to their song The Rumbling, written for Attack on Titan – one of the most successful animes in history. Graphic Nature was a support band of the night and they did their job perfectly. After them, SiM came on stage with huge smiles on their faces. As expected, the gig was fully sold-out. The energy was out of the charts, and all four band members were on top of their abilities and enthusiasm. Vocalist MAH was actively communicating with the audience and was making jokes. London gave SiM a very warm welcome, and the band openly shared that they are extremely excited to have a solo show in the UK. You can see photos of the band performing in London.
