Signs of the Swarm drop ferocious new single “Scars Upon Scars”

Pittsburgh deathcore titans Signs of the Swarm have released their crushing new single “Scars Upon Scars”, the third track from their upcoming album “To Rid Myself of Truth”, out August 22nd via Century Media Records. Produced by Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shoren, King 810), the track blends the band’s signature brutality with industrial and djent-influenced textures, pushing their evolving sound even further.

Clocking in at around three minutes, “Scars Upon Scars” is a no-frills assault of heavy riffs and punishing rhythms. It follows previous singles “HELLMUSTFEARME” and “Clouded Retinas,” adding more fuel to the fire as anticipation builds for the full album.

The album features guest appearances from Will Ramos (Lorna Shore), Phil Bozeman (Whitechapel), and others, showcasing a refreshed lineup that includes David Simonich, Bobby Crow, Carl Schulz, and Michael Cassese. The band will support the release with a North American tour this autumn alongside Mental Cruelty and ten56., with more dates expected in 2026.
