Signs of the Swarm debuts ferocious title track “To Rid Myself of Truth” ahead of August album

Pittsburgh’s own deathcore outfit Signs of the Swarm have unleashed their newest single and official video, “To Rid Myself of Truth,” a brutal lead offering from their sixth studio album of the same name, set to drop on August 22nd, 2025. The video, filmed by Eric DiCarlo of SquareUp Studios, matches the track’s relentless aggression with stark visuals and unflinching intensity.

The band worked once again with producer Josh Schroeder—known for his work with Lorna Shore and Mental Cruelty—to refine a sound that balances massive breakdowns, precise guitar work, and deep-rooted heaviness. The track signals a shift in direction, leaning into industrial and metalcore elements while preserving the raw deathcore power that defines the band.

The upcoming album also features guest appearances from Will Ramos of Lorna Shore, Phil Bozeman of Whitechapel, Jack Murray of 156/Silence, and Johnny Crowder of Prison. Earlier singles like “HELLMUSTFEARME,” “Scars Upon Scars,” and “Clouded Retinas” (featuring Ramos) have already stirred up excitement, with this title track now cementing the tone for what’s to come.

To support the release, the band will head out on a North American tour starting October 2nd in Montreal and wrapping up November 2nd in Worcester, with support from Mental Cruelty, Ten56., Carcosa, and Face Yourself.
