Sick New World reveals set times for the festival and some lineup changes too

If you intend to attend this year’s return of the “Sick New World” festival in Las Vegas, Nevada next weekend, you can formally arrange your day, as per theprp. This year’s flagship edition of that festival, which will, for the first time, also take place in Fort Worth, Texas in October with a different roster, features nu metal stars System Of A Down and Korn. The first “Sick New World” event of the year will take place on April 25 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in Las Vegas, Nevada. A number of lineup adjustments are announced along with the daily agenda. Better Lovers‘ withdrawal from the lineup is not surprising. Vocalist Greg Puciato left the metalcore supergroup in February of last year.

Industrial stalwarts KMFDM, who have been sidelined by a serious illness, and melodic hardcore band Scowl, whose decision to mainly abandon their 2026 touring plans has sparked numerous concerns about their current situation, are also absent from the bill. Grungy groove metal band Flatwounds, metalcore artist Showing Teeth, and blackgazers Deafheaven have recently filled those gaps. A joint set from hardcore groups Terror and Pain of Truth, who will also be touring together this spring, is an intriguing listing on the daily schedule below, despite not being completely new.
