It turns out that the “Sick New World” festival will return in 2026 with a bang. As reported by theprp, a preview of a Texas-based version of the yearly festival has also been added to the festival’s official website, sicknewworldfest.com. The Las Vegas iteration will take place in the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 25, 2026, according to a recent festival leak. Around that time, advertising has already started to pick up speed. The specifics of the first-ever stop in Texas have not yet been made public. But it looks like a stop in Fort Worth, Texas, on October 24th is scheduled. With the remainder of the bill still awaiting, System Of A Down, multi-platinum Armenian-American nu metal artists, are anticipated to be the festival’s main attraction this year. The decision to visit two cities next year comes after “Sick New World” had a poor 2025 performance and was forced to postpone their planned instalment this year after having good 2023 and 2024 performances. Even though Metallica and Linkin Park were scheduled to play headlining performances, the festival was canceled months in advance due to overbooking and poor ticket sales. According to reports, the plug was pulled because of the growing financial dangers associated with having such a costly roster of talent.
