The Finnish hard rockers Shiraz Lane have cancelled their performances at the festivals Ripollet Rock in Spain (29 August 2025) and Ålvik Rock in Norway (6 September 2025) as their frontman Hannes Kett recovers from a “severe case of pneumonia”:
“Hannes was recently hospitalised for multiple days with a severe case of pneumonia. Fear not – he’s gotten back home and is recovering. Unfortunately, the situation is we’ll still have to cancel our near-future shows. Due to doctor’s order and our unwillingness to risk anyone’s health – Hannes won’t be allowed to travel at the time of shows. […] We apologise for any inconvinience this may cause. Would have loved to rock and roll with you.”

While it is still unclear who will replace Shiraz Lane at Ålvik Rock, the Italian power / symphonic metallers Moonlight Haze will step in as their replacement at Ripollet Rock:
“Barcelona, we’re coming back for you NEXT WEEK! We played there just a couple of months ago and the crowd was wild — we can’t wait to feel that energy again at Ripollet Rock Festival, this time sharing the stage with Sonata Arctica! Get ready because it’s gonna be LOUD, HEAVY and unforgettable. See you in the pit, Barcelona!”
