Finnish metal band Shereign is set to release their concept album “Black Halo” on February 28th. The album weaves a colorful narrative filled with various forms of evil and despair. However, at its lyrical core lies the concept of humanity’s natural resilience, endurance, and powerful will to live, which drives us to resist the darkness surrounding us.

The band has now unveiled the album’s second single “One Way Out.” Lead vocalist Sara Strömmer describes the track:

“The song deals with death, as it’s inevitable and we only have one way out of this life. The lyrics are open to interpretation, as they shift throughout the song, either encouraging death, questioning it, or inspiring us to live life to the fullest before our time finally comes to an end. The song was also created to honor the memory of our friend.”
