One of the many charges against shock rock artist Marilyn Manson was dropped in court on 15 September.

The judge’s dismissal was based on the woman’s account that she had been traumatised by the event, and only remembered it when many other women came forward with their own experiences.

This reason was not sufficient in the eyes of the judge, but the anonymous prosecutor had the right to prosecute again. And so she did.

The woman, now identified as Jane Doe, has, according to confirmations obtained by Rolling Stone, filed a new charge on 23 September, giving more details of the horrific incident.

According to the charges, Manson allegedly threatened to crush Doe’s skull if she told the authorities about the rape. Doe also pleaded that she had only spoken publicly about the case now because she had pushed the case deep into the back of her unconscious mind due to its shocking nature.

Marilyn Manson has been accused of a wide range of gruesome charges, from harassment and emotional abuse in her relationships to rape. Numerous women have come forward with their own experiences. Manson himself denies the allegations.
