The Sex Pistols have announced a highly anticipated North American tour for autumn 2025, marking their first visit to the continent in over 20 years. This revamped lineup features original members Steve Jones, Paul Cook, and Glen Matlock, alongside Frank Carter as the new frontman. Carter, known for his work with Gallows and Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes, replaces former vocalist Johnny Rotten, who has publicly criticized the reunion.
The tour will showcase the band’s legendary 1977 album “Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols” performed in its entirety, along with other selections from their catalog. The journey begins on September 16th at Dallas’ Longhorn Ballroom—a venue tied to the band’s infamous 1978 performance—and concludes on October 16th at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium. Stops include major cities such as Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Toronto, and San Francisco.
Frank Carter expressed the tour’s relevance amidst challenging times, stating that punk music offers a space for people to vent and enjoy themselves safely. Tickets will go on presale starting April 2nd, with general sales beginning April 4th.
