At Songdo Moonlight Festival Park in Incheon, South Korea, Guns N’ Roses began their 2025 global tour Thursday with a 22-song set that was very similar to their prior performances. Isaac Carpenter, the new drummer for Guns N’ Roses, who took over for longtime drummer Frank Ferrer in March, made his debut on the opening engagement of the tour, which is titled “Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things”. Having played with Duff McKagan’s Loaded from 2009 to 2011 and featured on their 2011 album “The Taking”, Carpenter has prior GN’R ties. The setlist order was the most significant alteration made during the band’s performance. The song “Welcome to the Jungle” opened Guns for the first time since 2012. Previously, “It’s So Easy” was the opening song. The remaining spring and early summer months will see Guns N’ Roses‘ current tour come to an end on July 31 at Wacken Open Air. No dates in North America have been announced by the band yet.
