Serpent God came into being in 2023, almost by accident, when its members were crafting material for another band, Se, josta ei puhuta. But some of those songs didn’t quite fit — they were slower, darker, and just plain weirder. Too good to toss aside, the music spawned a new beast entirely. Rooted firmly in extreme metal, Serpent God branches out boldly into the realms of post-rock, doom, and even avant-garde soundscapes, shaping something both familiar and entirely their own.
