Sebastian Marino, ex-Overkill and Anvil‘s guitarist, died yesterday 1 January at 57. A friend stated that the artist may have died in the hospital due to the complications of a heart attack.
A tragic event that shocked the rock and metal community. Sebastian Marino had been central to Anvil‘s “Worth the Weight,” and had featured with Overkill on records such as 1996’s “The Killing Kind,” 1997’s “From the Underground and Below,” and 1999’s “Necroshine.”
