Columbus, Ohio death-metal outfit Sanguisugabogg has dropped a lingering new single “Repulsive Demise” from their relentlessly brutal new album, “Hideous Aftermath”, due out on October 10th via Century Media Records. You can listen to the track below and on streaming platforms.

As the story goes, “Abhorrent Contraception” hit in June, and already made a splash with its grotesque-themed video and guest vocal from Josh Welshman of Defeated Sanity. The song was followed by another banger “Rotted Entanglement” in July. Now, fans are primed for “Repulsive Demise,” a track whose title alone promises more of the band’s signature gore-obsessed and tongue-in-cheek aesthetic.

Along with Josh Welshman, the album also features multiple guest appearances from Todd Jones of Nails, PeelingFlesh, Travis Ryan of Cattle Decapitation, and Dylan Walker of Full of Hell.

The upcoming record is shaping up to be the band’s most ferocious outing yet. Produced by Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou at God City Studios in Salem, Massachusetts, the band describes “Hideous Aftermath” as their “most death metal record, our most personal record, our most focused and brutal record to date.”
