Columbus, Ohio’s brutal death metal crew Sanguisugabogg have unveiled their second single, “Rotted Entanglement”, ahead of the release of their third studio album, “Hideous Aftermath”, due October 10th via Century Media Records. The accompanying video—shot in their hometown—is directed by vocalist Devin Swank and edited by Josh Nunn of Daily Grind Productions.

This follows their lead single “Abhorrent Contraception”, released late June, which featured guest vocals by Josh Welshman of Defeated Sanity and teased an album packed with high-profile collaborators including members of PeelingFlesh, Nails, Cattle Decapitation, and Full of Hell. “Hideous Aftermath” was produced and mixed by Kurt Ballou of Converge at God City Studios in Salem, Massachusetts, aiming to deliver a sharper, more focused and brutal sound than ever before.

The “Rotted Entanglement” video leans into violently chaotic, graphic visuals that match the band’s signature aesthetic of visceral horror and nihilistic violence. The new material highlights Sanguisugabogg at their most refined and aggressive, with “Hideous Aftermath” shaping up to be their most personal and punishing release to date.
