Norwegian solo artist RXND has released a new single, “A New World: The Setting Sun.” Watch the official music video below.
RXND states: “The song deals with the friction between life and the natural elements (Air, Fire, Water, Earth), showing how when nature is punished, it also takes back control“.
“A New World: The Setting Sun” features a blend of cinematic elements, alternative rock, screamo and heavy post-hardcore, wrapped in a dark, fantasy-driven Tim Burton aesthetic. The track was mixed and mastered at Tide Studios in London.
The lyrics challenge listeners to think for themselves and consider different perspectives, focusing on the core and root of issues rather than conforming to political sides.
RXND is an independent musical force created by Ronde Fauchald, aiming to convey objective messages that inspire freedom of thought and encourage you to form your own perspective—making RXND a kind of musical illusionist.
Created outside traditional music frameworks, this self-contained musical project focuses entirely on a boundary-crossing, cross-genre sound, shifting freely between layers and elements. As the sole songwriter, instrumentalist, and producer, Ronde Fauchald manages the entire creative audio and visual pipeline to deliver conceptual themes.
