Rwake returns with “The Return Of Magik” album – listen to new single “You Swore We’d Always Be Together”

US sludge metal band Rwake will release their new album “The Return Of Magik” on March 14th, 2025 via Relapse Records. This is the band’s first full length album in 14 years and their previous album “Rest” was released in 2011.

The band has shared a new single “You Swore We’d Always Be Together”, an eight-minute mix of crushing heavy metal and calmer southern rock.

“The Return Of Magik” was recorded in early 2024 at East End Sounds studio in Hensley, Arkansas. The album also marks the first time the band’s new guitarist Austin Sublett will be heard.
