Peruvian metal band Ruin has shared a new music for the song “Die Standing“. You can watch the clip below.

Die Standing” is the first single from their forthcoming EP “Let There Be Cold”, which will be released in the middle of this year.

The music video for “Die Standing” showcases the band in full action, delivering the song with their signature passion and energy. Filmed at Hellcat Studios (Lima, Peru), it also includes powerful and symbolic imagery that reflects the song’s message and theme: an audiovisual journey, accompanied by a straightforward yet impactful theme. The mastering was completed by Ricardo Tafur at Barracuda Studio (Lima).

Samuel ‘Yuyin’ Ruiz, the band’s founder and vocalist, remarks: “‘Die Standing’ embodies a way of living and thinking for those who await destiny or a miracle without making an effort to forge their own path, unwilling to sacrifice for their goals in life or to live with dignity and honor. The message of ‘Die Standing’ is that we choose to die on our feet rather than live on our knees, waiting for change without first fighting for it”.

Guitarist Felix Silva adds: “To me, ‘Die Standing’ signifies the persistence and passion to continue creating metal, regardless of age and the challenges of the Peruvian market“.

Ruin is made up of Samuel “Yuyin” Ruiz (vocals), Félix Silva (guitars), Mark Sarmiento (guitars), Alfonso “Afo” Aparcana (bass) and Diego Guzmán (drums).
