Ronnie Platt updates fans with positive news after cancer diagnosis

On February 11th, the singer revealed that he had been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and that he would need to have his thyroid removed. Platt underlined that his cancer has not spread and has a 99% chance of survival. Following the announcement, a few performances were canceled or rescheduled. Platt has already informed his followers that his surgery went well, and he is already planning to go back on stage.
