Las Vegas hardcore firebrand, Roman Candle share ‘This Band Has Led Me To Places I Wouldn’t Go With A Gun‘ today. The new track, their second single release since signing to new label home, Sumerian Records, is anchored in the myriad challenges they overcame in 2024, personal reckoning bleeding into internal conflict, the specific moment they decided to quit. Except they didn’t. What emerged instead was this: a song about refusing to let anything go even when letting go feels like like the only viable option. Listen to ‘This Band Has Led Me To Places I Wouldn’t Go With A Gun‘ here and watch the video here.

Further elaborating on the new single, vocalist Piper Ferrari shares:
“This song came out of everything that happened last year—personally and with the band. We took a step back to write and figured out what Roman Candle really means to us, and in that time I realised how much I just couldn’t let anything go. The lyrics—’It’s like walking a tightrope / The world beneath me and that feeling in my stomach’—pretty much sums up that feeling of trying to hold it together while everything’s spinning.

“‘This Band Has Led Me To Places I Wouldn’t Go With A Gun’ is about tension, pride, and refusing to quit even when it feels impossible. We poured everything into this one, and now that it’s out, we’re more excited than ever to get back on stage. Playing these new songs live feels like taking our power back.”

Last month, Roman Candle announced their signing to Sumerian Records and celebrated with the critically acclaimed single ‘Fire In The Night Sky Forever‘. They return today with ‘This Band Has Led Me To Places I Wouldn’t Go With A Gun’, yet another step in cementing the band’s phenomenal ability to find catharsis in the spectrum of musical and emotional fury.
