According to Toyah Willcox and Robert Fripp, Fripp is recuperating after a heart attack. It happened last month, when Fripp was getting ready to travel to Italy to play at an Orchestra Of Crafty Guitarists concert at Castione della Presolana in Bergamo, Italy; the two focused their weekly Upbeat Moments film on a story that happened. The King Crimson man, who was experiencing what he believed to be acid reflux, took the flight and made arrangements for a doctor to be available when he arrived. However, he was taken to a hospital in Bergamo, where he underwent two rounds of emergency surgery after being tested and admitted to intensive care. Fripp continues by saying that he underwent two surgeries to have a pair of stents placed after it was determined that he had a trifurcated artery. Willcox then breaks down in tears as he says that Fripp unintentionally took off his clothes when asked what he wanted to eat because so few of the medical staff could communicate in English. The two conclude by stating that while Fripp will be taking a break for six to eight weeks, their Sunday Lunch films will still be released. Fripp adds that he was able to direct the Guitar Circle performance at Castione della Presolana less than a week following his procedures.
Well here’s the interesting bit, I was in A&E not quite knowing what was going on other than I knew they were going to do something, and an orderly came along and shaved my balls! Now the dear man, I really didn’t wish his job on him at that point. Now this is the thing. So you’re concerned with my heart, fine. What are you doing shaving my balls?
We’re not allowed any nookie for a month. But I’ve inspected him all over and he’s very, very shaved.

It was stunning. The audience were prepped with orchestral manoeuvres and it really was a magical event for me. About the performance
