American punk rock band Rise Against have just unveiled the music video for “Ricochet”, the title track and final preview from their upcoming album “Ricochet”, arriving this Friday, August 15th via Loma Vista Recordings. This album marks the band’s first new full-length release in four years.

Produced by Grammy-winner Catherine Marks and mixed by Alan Moulder, “Ricochet” delivers a twelve-song set that blends the band’s trademark energy with fresh sonic textures. Prior to this release, the band shared three singles: “Nod” in January, “Prizefighter” in April, and “I Want It All” in May, the latter coinciding with the album’s official announcement.

The video for “Ricochet” mirrors the album’s central theme of interconnectedness, portraying the idea that every action sends ripples outward, impacting others across borders, communities, and economies. The track opens with a pulsing mix of drum machine and acoustic guitar before exploding into a soaring, high-energy anthem.

Across the record, Rise Against tackle subjects ranging from social solidarity and personal responsibility to resistance against misinformation and societal collapse. Tracks like “Black Crown”, “Gold Long Gone”, “Soldier”, “Sink Like A Stone”, and “State Of Emergency” dive into issues of political unrest, generational challenges, mental health, and the influence of the modern media landscape — all with an undercurrent of optimism for change.
