Today is the day that Crashdïet‘s 6th studio album was supposed to be released. Instead, the Swedish glam sleaze rockers have now released a statement that the release of the album will be postponed by “a few weeks”:

“Urgent news regarding the album release! Due to a number of recent setbacks we have been forced to push back the album release a few weeks. But don’t worry, we have a bunch of cool stuff coming up! The 2nd single/music video is ready for launch, the album is delivered and we are about to film the 3rd single. So you will all be pleased in the end”

– Crashdïet

The still untitled album will be released via Crusader Records / Golden Robot Records, and it will be the second Crashdïet album with Gabriel Keyes as the vocalist of the Stockholm-based quartet. Crashdïet‘s first album with Gabriel Keyes, “Rust”, was released in 2019. After Dave Lepard, H. Olliver Twisted (a.k.a. Olli Herman, frontman of the Finnish merry metallers Reckless Love) and Simon Cruz, Gabriel Keyes is the fourth frontman of Crashdïet.

Despite the postponement of the album release, Crashdïet‘s joint European tour with the Finnish hard rockers Shiraz Lane will go ahead as planned.
