Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu, an apparently estranged Korn bassist, performed two songs from the aforementioned pioneering nu metal band on April 3rd, without any of his Korn comrades, as per theprp. Instead, during Breaking In A Sequence’s performance last night at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California, Fieldy joined them onstage for a few songs. The band Core 10, which at first included former Korn drummer David Silveria, gave rise to Breaking In A Sequence. During the performance last night, Fieldy, one of the few attendees, ran through Korn‘s songs “Clown” and “Got The Life.” He also performed a cover of the early (hed)p.e. song “Ground” as an extra bonus.

Breaking In A Sequence features former (hed)p.e. drummer Ben “B.C.” Vaught, therefore the latter cover was not difficult. In addition to the nostalgia for the late 90s, last night’s performance featured ex (hed)p.e. Wes Geer, a musician, also appears on that cover. There hasn’t been much fan-filmed footage of the set yet, but as of the time of publication, a variety of snippets of the aforementioned covers had been collected on Breaking In A Sequence‘s Instagram Story. After leaving Korn in 2021, Fieldy has previously mentioned that he hasn’t spoken to the band’s members since. The official music video for Breaking In A Sequence‘s new track, “Meant To Be,” was released a few days ago.

The alternative hard rock/metal band Breaking In A Sequence is situated in Huntington Beach, California. The group, which includes drummer David Silveria, bassist Chris Dorame, guitarists Joe Taback, and Mike Martin, came together after Rich Nguyen was found through a global search for vocalists. Silveria’s trademark groove supports the band’s varied musicality, which is expertly bound together by strong, enthralling vocal melodies. There was a lot of excitement surrounding the release of the debut songs, “Pity & Change Your Mind,” on January 4, 2019. The band’s fan base has grown significantly both domestically and internationally because to “Pity,” the more edgy of the two songs. The band’s gentler, more melodic side is on display in “Change Your Mind.
