They performed to sold-out audiences all over the world and immediately became well-known worldwide. Queensrÿche continued to demonstrate their global domination as one of the most renowned and innovative bands of the 1980s with the release of their groundbreaking album “Rage For Order” in 1986 and their follow-up full-length album “The Warning” in 1984. The band released another incredible album, “Operation: Mindcrime,” in 1988. It went on to become one of the TOP 10 best-selling concept recordings of all time and paved the way for further sold-out shows all over the world.
The band won the MTV “viewers choice” award for the #1 chart-topping smash “Silent Lucidity” and received numerous Grammy Award nominations following the release of the critically acclaimed and financially successful “Empire” in 1991. The band continued to put out albums and tour the world to sold-out venues throughout the course of the following 10 years.
