Puscifer have released a brand new song titled “ImpetuoUs”. The track serves as the third and final single ahead of the alternative rock trio’s upcoming studio album “Normal Isn’t”, which is set for release on February 6, 2026.
With “ImpetuoUs”, Puscifer offer fans one last glimpse into the sonic world of “Normal Isn’t”. Fronted by Maynard James Keenan, the band continues to blend atmospheric textures, unconventional songwriting and philosophical undertones into their sound.
Commenting on the new track, Keenan explained that songs often take on a life of their own once released into the world:
“I’m looking forward to hearing where this song takes people. As writers, we forget that we’ve lived with the song since it was just raw material. Our perspective can be very different from those who experience it for the first time.”
As a result, “ImpetuoUs” invites listeners to interpret its meaning freely, whether as a place of shelter, connection or something far darker.
In addition to the song itself, the accompanying visuals offer a first look at Puscifer’s upcoming comic book series, “Tales From The Pusciverse”. The series expands the band’s surreal visual mythology beyond music and into the world of comics.
The first issue will focus on the character Bellendia Black, who was previously introduced in the music video for “Pendulum”. Maynard James Keenan has written the story and co-edited it with Julie Gonzales, while the artwork is handled by Marlin Shoop. More details about the comic series are expected in the coming months.
Meanwhile, Puscifer are preparing to take their new material on the road. The band will tour North America in spring 2026, joined by Dave Hill on the upcoming run.
