Psycroptic sign with Metal Blade Records – release new single “Architects Of Extinction”

Psycroptic have officially joined the Metal Blade Records family, marking a new chapter for the Tasmanian death metal veterans. To celebrate, they’ve just dropped a blistering new single and video, “Architects Of Extinction,” now streaming everywhere.

With over two decades of tech-death mastery under their belts, the band are gearing up for the release of their ninth full-length album. Guitarist Joe Haley called the signing “a surreal and humbling moment,” adding that Metal Blade shaped their musical DNA from day one. Bassist Todd Stern echoed the excitement, calling it the “perfect fit at the perfect time.”

The band’s sound—defined by hyper-tight rhythms, ferocious riffing, and the in-sync wizardry of the Haley brothers—continues to evolve. And with the return of session vocalist Jason Keyser (Origin), the upcoming material promises to hit even harder.
