Psychonaut unveil new single “And You Came With Searing Light” from upcoming album

Belgian psychedelic post-metal trio Psychonaut have released a new single “And You Came With Searing Light” from their fourth full-length album “World Maker” out on October 24 via Pelagic Records. You can listen to the track below and on streaming platforms.

The new single that the band describes as one of the earliest written for the record and a strong expression of their evolving sound. Although the band postponed it from its originally intended position as the album opener, it still holds compositional and dynamic weight.

“World Maker” was recorded and produced together with longtime collaborator Chiaran Verheyden (Pothamus, Hippotraktor), with album artwork by Sam Coussens of Pothamus. The themes across the album have been influenced by personal events, including guitarist Stefan de Graef becoming a father and both de Graef and bassist-vocalist Thomas Michiels facing serious family illness. These experiences contributed to a shift from philosophical and spiritual foundations toward more immediate, life-affirming perspectives.
