Belgian psychedelic post‑metal trio Psychonaut have released a new single titled “Stargazer”, the second preview of their upcoming album “World Maker”, which is set to arrive on October 24th through Pelagic Records.

The track appears as number eight on the album and brings a mix of delicate melodies and folk-tinged warmth that evolve into expansive, heavy breakdowns. The song title is inspired by a deeply personal moment for vocalist/guitarist Stefan de Graef, referencing the gaze of his newborn son—tying into the album’s broader themes of legacy, love, and life’s fragile beauty.

Fans online have already praised “Stargazer” for staying true to Psychonaut’s signature sound while continuing to push genre boundaries. There’s a strong balance between serene atmosphere and crushing intensity, combining both clean and harsh vocals with fluid shifts in mood and tone.

“World Maker” was recorded and produced in collaboration with longtime producer Chiaran Verheyden (Pothamus, Hippotraktor) and features cover artwork by Sam Coussens. The album captures a more intimate and emotional side of the band, stepping away from their earlier philosophical themes to focus on the raw highs and lows of real-life experiences.

Following the first single “Endless Currents”, this second offering hints at a dynamic and deeply human record that’s shaping up to be one of the band’s most personal and powerful releases to date.
