The Swedish dark 80s style synth-pop band Priest, which partly consists of former band members of the Swedish rock heavyweights Ghost, has released their new single “Vaudeville (Live In Hollywood)“. You can listen to the song below:

Vaudeville (Live In Hollywood)” is “the first taste” of Priest‘s upcoming live album “Live In Hollywood” which will be released in December 2025 via Blue Nine Records. “Live In Hollywood” was recorded during Priest‘s show at the legendary “Whisky A Go Go” in Los Angeles on 27 January 2025, “as a goodbye celebration to the third incarnation of Priest which has come to an end.” With the release of their current EP “Chaos EP” in June 2025 (The corresponding EP review can be read here), Priest announced “the end of an era”, after it had already been mentioned a few months earlier that the whole project would be rebooted. As in the past, the masked trio has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo for “Live In Hollywood”, “to raise a certain budget in order to get the record into production and pay everyone involved in the release along with shipping, PR etc.”, already surpassing 100% of their funding goal (13,000 €), with 18 days still to go. You can find more information about the campaign, including a video and which exclusive rewards you will receive for supporting the campaign, here.
