The Swedish dark 80s style synth-pop band Priest, which partly consists of former band members of the Swedish rock heavyweights Ghost, certainly knows how to keep their fans in suspense. With a big reboot just around the corner, the masked trio has announced a new single, “Zombie Night“, set for a release on 6 June 2026. The single’s artwork, designed by visual artist Greta Helling, continues to feature the third incarnation of Priest, though with a gravestone for frontman Mercury 3.0 in the background. “Zombie Night” is Priest‘s first new single since the release of their live album “Live In Hollywood” on 19 December 2025 via Blue Nine Records (The corresponding live album review can be read here).

“Another endless night in rumination, summoning old ghosts from the past? PRIEST’s new single ZOMBIE NIGHT dives into dark themes through steady, glittering synthpop — resurrecting emotions that refuse to stay buried. Released 06.06.26 — exclusively on vinyl. ‘No stream til’ Halloween!’ Limited 7″ pressing [3 versions], secure your copy before it disappears for ever. Side A: ZOMBIE NIGHT. Side B: THE GOBLIN SONG. Available only through our official webshop: www.airghoul.com”
