Portuguese black metal outfit Gaerea have dropped their new single “Hellbound”, keeping up the momentum from their earlier release “Submerged”.
The track appears on their upcoming album “Loss”, arriving March 20, 2026 through Century Media. The band says “Hellbound” reflects their evolving sound. Mixing raw aggression with emotional and atmospheric depth that defines the new record.
Gaerea has also teased an official video for the song, which is going to be released later today. The video mirrors the track’s descent into despair and chaos. Echoing the themes of isolation and struggle that run through their work.
The band first teased “Hellbound” soon after “Submerged” dropped in August. Marking another strong step forward after their 2023 album “Coma”.
The album is now available for pre-order through the band’s official store and various retailers.
