Pop star The Weeknd says that Deftones were a huge inspiration for him

It is no secret that The Weeknd is one of the most popular artists of today. He is on the top of multiple streaming charts and is one of the best selling artists with over 75 million records sold.

For some it may come as a surprise, but The Weeknd tells on social media that the alternative metal group Deftones were a huge inspiration for him during his “Trilogy” -era back in 2012.

He also showed some love to the late Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington:
