Florida metalcore veterans Poison The Well have released a new single titled “Everything Hurts”, taken from their upcoming album “Peace In Place”. The band also shared an official music video, offering another glimpse into their first full length record in years.
“Everything Hurts” follows the album’s earlier single “Thoroughbreds” and continues the band’s long awaited return. Vocalist Jeffrey Moreira explains that the track explores the strain and patience required to keep relationships alive. At its core, the song looks at how even the closest bonds can test us over time.
With “Peace In Place”, Poison The Well step back into the spotlight with their first full album since 2009’s “The Tropic Rot”. As a result, the new material carries the weight of years spent away from the studio. Moreira has noted that reconnecting with the band helped shape a record that feels honest and emotionally grounded.
Musically, “Everything Hurts” balances melody and heaviness in a way that feels true to the band’s roots. At the same time, it shows a matured edge that reflects their growth. The song builds tension through dynamic shifts, while the lyrics lean into vulnerability rather than aggression.
“Peace In Place” will be released on March 20 through SharpTone Records.
