Professionally recorded video from the performances of several artists’ sets at the annual “Pinkpop” Festival in Landgraaf, Netherlands, has recently been made available to the public. A 4K remastered, pre-“Three Dollar Bill, Y’all” 1997 set from nu metal kingpins Limp Bizkit has also surfaced, though it is not an official channel release. Other initial offerings include concerts by then-rising bands in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-inducted rap metal outfit Rage Against The Machine, genre-defying (and defining) alternative metal stars Faith No More, and Sacramento, CA-based alternative metal veterans Deftones. A 2003 set by Queens of the Stone Age, German industrial metal pioneers Rammstein, and diamond-certified alternative rock icons The Smashing Pumpkins have also been shared.
