On the 4th of December, four very heavy and very talented bands came to Wales. The Great Hall at the Cardiff University Students’ Union was shaken to the core that evening. From the Dutch band’s Distant breakdowns to the intensiveness of Ingested from Manchester (or “Slam-Chester”), to the heaviness of Rivers of Nihil of Pennsylvania and finally, to Lorna Shore’s melodies, emotion and fire – all of it made the special night unforgettable.
