Peter Frampton‘s new song “Lions At The Gate” features guitarist Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine, as per theprp. Morello is one of several guests on Frampton‘s first new album in sixteen years, “Carry The Light,” which also features appearances by Sheryl Crow, Bill Evans, and other artists. Julian, Frampton’s son, also provided vocals for this song, which a press release called “a dynamic protest song featuring guitar by Rage Against The Machine‘s Tom Morello, draws inspiration from lion statues outside Hollywood elite mansions in the 1920s. Frampton incorporates Morello’s signature heat to urge listeners to “tear down the lions at the gate,” symbolizing a bold challenge to the ultra-powerful.’

English-American guitarist, singer, and composer Peter Kenneth Frampton gained notoriety as a member of the rock groups Humble Pie and The Herd.
