PeelingFlesh reveal new details about their upcoming album

The self-titled new album from PeelingFlesh will be released this autumn, as per theprp. The band recently released the video teaser below, although an actual release date is still awaiting. The “slamming gangster groove” group joined Dave Otero (Cattle Decapitation, Archspire) at his Flatline Audio studio in February of last year. Mychal Soto, the band’s guitarist, mixed and mastered the performance.

After the deathcore group Strangled broke up, three of its former members—guitarist Together with guitarist Jason Parrish and singer Damonteal Harris, Mychal Soto, bassist Austin Hirom, and drummer Joe Pelletier would form PeelingFlesh. On September 10, 2021, they released “Slamaholics Mixtape”, their first EP. On December 24 of same year, they published the “Winter Mixtape Promo”. On June 1st, 2022, they released an EP called “Human Pudding”. They signed with Unique Leader Records shortly after releasing “PF Radio” in 2023. In the autumn of that year, “Slamaholics, Vol. 2”. would be their first significant release. In 2023, PeelingFlesh performed at Oklahoma Death Fest alongside Cattle Decapitation and Dying Fetus.

In 2024, PeelingFlesh released “3 Year Peeling Spree”, a compilation of all of their previous albums, to mark three years as a band. “The G Code”, the band’s debut full-length record, was released in September of that year. PeelingFlesh went on the “Death and Decay” North American tour with Whitechapel and Revocation in late 2024.They followed up on their EP from two years earlier with the release of their second full-length album, “PF Radio 2”. That year, they also gave a performance at the Sonic Temple music event in Columbus, Ohio.

Austin Hirom, the band’s bassist, left in 2025 to spend more time with his family. On January 22, 2026, Chip Smith took his post. The band’s inclusion on the lineup for the September Louder Than Life music event in Louisville was revealed the following month.
