Former Iron Maiden lead singer Paul Di’Anno‘s cause of death has been made public. The singer, whose stage name was Paul Di’Anno but whose real name was Paul Andrews, died on October 21 at the age of 66 in his Salisbury, Wiltshire, England, home.
On Oct. 21, Di’Anno‘s record company, Conquest Music, announced his passing, stating that the singer had “severe health issues” that left him confined to a wheelchair prior to his demise. Iron Maiden, which is currently composed of Di’Anno‘s old bandmates Steve Harris, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, Nicko McBrain, Janick Gers, and Dickinson, announced a 50th anniversary tour a week after Di’Anno‘s death.
