Iconic vocalist Ozzy Osbourne is set to perform from a throne during Black Sabbath’s ultimate farewell show, scheduled for July 5 in Birmingham, England.

The 76-year-old rock legend has been battling numerous health challenges in recent years, including severe neck injuries and Parkinson’s disease. His seated performance shouldn’t come as unexpected news, as Ozzy acknowledged earlier this year that he’s no longer able to walk.

In a conversation with the Riff X program Metal XS, guitarist Zakk Wylde revealed that this special throne might even become airborne:

“The current plan—and we’re staying optimistic about this—is inspired by Oz’s performance at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony. Ozzy was seated in a chair singing ‘Mama, I’m Coming Home’ and it sounded fantastic. So hopefully we’ll proceed with this approach, and perhaps Oz will say, ‘Let’s fire up the machine again and do another tour.’ With Ozzy and his throne soaring above the stadium, spraying water buckets and creating other spectacular effects. If Oz enjoys himself and decides, ‘I want to hit the road again,’ our response will simply be, ‘Great. Let’s do it again.'”
