Overkill reveal temporary lineup change

Christian Olde Wolbers, a former bassist for Fear Factory, will once again cover for D.D. Verni of Overkill on the New Jersey thrash metal veterans’ next U.S. tour as Testament’s support act, as per Blabbermouth. German thrashers Destruction will provide further support for the “Thrash Of The Titans” excursion, which will begin in March. Olde Wolbers posted the following message in an advertisement for the “Thrash Of The Titans” tour on Sunday, January 18.

When Overkill supported King Diamond on a North American tour in the fall of 2024, Olde Wolbers filled in for Verni, who is still battling with a “shoulder issue”. Christian “Speesy” Giesler, a former bassist for Kreator, was hired by Overkill to temporarily replace Verni for a few European performances in September 2024.
