Ov Sulfur unleash emotional new single “Vast Eternal” as momentum builds for “Endless”

American blackened deathcore quintet Ov Sulfur have released their fierce new single “Vast Eternal”, and the track adds even more anticipation to their upcoming album “Endless”, which drops on January 16, 2026 through Century Media Records. The song hits with bleak melodies, sharp blackened deathcore and a steady sense of despair that fits the themes the band explore on this new record. It also shows how far they have pushed their sound since their debut. Because of that growth, the single feels like a strong signal of what is coming next.

The band have taken major steps with “Endless”. They bring in heavier black metal influences yet keep the core of their deathcore roots. Earlier this year they revealed “Wither”, their first track made entirely with clean vocals. Ricky Hoover and Chase Wilson split the performance on that song as a tribute to the grandparents they lost. They dedicated it to bassist Josh Bearden’s late father as well. Their grief shaped the track in a direct way, and this emotion still drives their new material. As a result, “Vast Eternal” carries both rage and reflection.

The messages on “Endless” reach beyond personal loss. The band examine the idea of eternal life and explore how fear, grief and doubt could consume a person over time. Hoover’s voice cuts through the mix with that tension, while Wilson’s rougher singing gives the songs a raw edge. Their chemistry has become one of the band’s biggest strengths, and new members Christian Becker and Bearden bring even more force to their live sound. Leviathvn’s pounding drums tie everything together and keep the record grounded in pure heaviness.

Ov Sulfur will keep building momentum on the road. They have toured with Lorna Shore, Signs of the Swarm and Nekrogoblikon, and they return to North America this winter with Ingested, Distant, Cell and Crucifiction. With each new single, “Endless” looks more like their most ambitious and emotional release yet. Pre-orders for “Endless” are available in various formats here.
