Opeth drops vinyl remastered of their first three albums
Stylish artworks, lucid sounds, and brand-new vinyl editions. This is what every first-era Opeth fan would love to hear, and looks like the dream will come true as soon as spring arrives. On 19th May, “Orchid”, “Morningrise”, and “My Arms, Your Hearse” will be completely remastered and republished.
The remastering process went under the surveillance of Jens Borgen, who worked also with Katatonia, Amorphis, and Sepultura. Mikael Åkerfeldt was clearly highly involved in the production, in order to guarantee a luxury and well-performing refinement. Spit-shined artworks will satisfy the fandom’s hunger too, thanks to the stunning re-work of Dan Capp.
