Adam Warren, the vocalist for Oceano, has responded to accusations that he stole a designer’s idea for the admat for their final tour, which was shown earlier this week. The deathcore band was criticized by artist Chris Gallien for what he saw as resemblances to his abandoned admat design for that journey. Gallien criticized the chosen final design, saying it was a sparsely modified version of his own creation. The screencap, one of several posted, showed that Gallien had apparently expressed his disgust with Warren.
In the end, as demonstrated in one of the shared screen-capted text exchanges, Warren expressed his displeasure with the artwork Gallien produced, claiming that his criticism of the design was an example of his “artistic honesty.” He added that following the uproar, he did, however, offer him payment for it.
Although the two maintained a cordial text exchange, Warren responded with multiple responses in the comments section of Gallien’s initial post.
