Finnish instrumental duo NYOS have released two new tracks, “Pepe-Pepe” and “Lo4”, taken from their upcoming album “Growl”, out October 10 via Pelagic Records.

The two new tracks join the rest of the album’s nine songs, including earlier singles “Get Ready” and “Superstar”. NYOS are offering pre-orders now on Bandcamp in digital, CD, and vinyl formats.

The band, formed in Jyväskylä, is comprised of guitarist Tom Brooke and drummer Tuomas Kainulainen. Their style blends elements of post-rock, math rock, doom, and experimental textures, often leaning on loop-based structures, heavy drumming, and atmospheric layering.

“Growl” is described as the band’s most ambitious record to date, with denser soundscapes and emotional breadth. The release strategy — dropping singles before the full album — suggests the band is building momentum and showcasing the variety of moods on the record.
