There is a trailer available about the new documentary about the late heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne, as reported from theprp. The documentary is called “Ozzy: No Escape From Now,” and it was directed by BAFTA winner Tania Alexander. Production started in early 2022. The documentary, which was finished with Ozzy and his family’s full participation, follows Osbourne‘s life and career with an emphasis on his later years and subsequent health issues. A late-night fall in 2019 left Osbourne seriously hurt, dislodging many steel rods that had been surgically placed to aid with his recovery from an ATV accident in the early 2000s. Along with his worsening Parkinson’s illness, the fall’s aftermath and the unsuccessful medical interventions that followed had a significant negative influence on his mobility in his latter years. In addition to providing unfettered access to the family, this new documentary includes commentary from a number of Osbourne‘s well-known friends and bandmates, several of whom have been confirmed to be involved.

His time in the studio for his last albums, his brief stage appearances with the help of a back brace, and his spectacular live goodbye at this past July’s “Back To The Beginning” farewell show were all captured on camera for the project. On October 7th, “Ozzy: No Escape From Now” will debut on Paramount+.
This film is an honest account of what has happened to Ozzy during the last few years. It shows how hard things have been for him and the courage he has shown while dealing with a number of serious health issues, including Parkinson’s. It’s about the reality of his life now. We have worked with a production team we trust and have allowed them the freedom to tell the story openly. We hope that story will inspire people that are facing similar issues to Ozzy.
