Now available Kanonfieber’s new single “Z-Vor!”

Kanonenfieber released their new track “Z-Vor!” just in time for their early Thursday night performance at Summer Breeze Open Air. The song comes with a complex, historically detailed lyric video and is the first taste of the band’s next compilation, “Soldatenschicksale” (Soldiers’ Fates), which is scheduled to be released by Century Media Records on January 30, 2026. The story of “Z-Vor!” is based on the events of May 31, 1916, when German and British naval forces engaged in the combat of Jutland, which turned out to be the biggest sea combat of the First World War. The urgent order delivered in the midst of battle is reflected in the song’s title. With a focus on the Jutland engagement, “Soldatenschicksale” will include two brand-new pieces that constitute the Skagerrak cycle in addition to updated versions of earlier tracks.
