In 2010, Turnstile was founded. Lead singer Brendan Yates, guitarists Pat McCrory and Meg Mills, bassist Franz Lyons, and drummer Daniel Fang make up the group. Turnstile, a hardcore punk band at first, achieved success with their third album, “Glow ON”. After its 2021 debut, they received praise from critics and three Grammy nominations. Brady Ebert, the band’s original guitarist, departed in 2022. When their fourth album, “Never Enough”, was released in 2025, it peaked in the top ten in five nations, including the United States. Turnstile became the first band to garner five Grammy nominations for the same year in the rock, alternative, and metal categories. On February 1, 2026, the group won the Grammy Awards for Best Metal Performance for their song “Birds” and Best Rock Album.
