In Loving Memory of Ozzy Osbourne (1948–2025)
Following her acceptance of an award in the Prince of Darkness’ honor, Kelly Osbourne acknowledged her late father Ozzy‘s supporters. Kelly accepted the Birmingham Awards’ Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of the Black Sabbath singer after Ozzy‘s posthumous win on October 17. The youngest daughter of Ozzyand his wife/manager Sharon then rushed to Instagram to write a moving ode to her father, the fans, and the city of Birmingham, where Ozzy was raised.
Last night I had the honor of accepting my father’s life time achievement award on his behalf at the @birminghamawards I can’t thank everyone enough for their love and support. I know that my dad was shining down on us from heaven with pride because being a #Brummy meant more to him than anything. He loved the city and he loved the people. This honor would have meant the world to him. From the bottom of my heart thank you. #birminghamforever
